We can make the next 60 years of Ghana even better – Former President Mahama...
Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has charged the good people of Ghana to make sure this beloved country called Ghana becomes an "even better" place to live in the next 60 years.
As Ghana celebrates its 60th independence anniversary today --- Monday, March 6, 2017 --- the former president in tweet said:
“I salute all Ghanaians. Let’s dedicate ourselves, on this occasion, to make the next 60 years even better. #Ghana #AfricaRising #AHappyPeople."

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo marked this day at the Independence Square in Accra, Ghana.
The event also had in attendance President Mugabe of Zimbabwe.
It was on March 6th, 1957 that Ghana gained independence from Britain.
